Thank you for shopping with Sweet Society Baking Co. LLC ("we", "us", "our"). We strive to provide the best quality products and services. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help. Please review our refund policy to understand our procedures.
1. Returns
1.1 Perishable Goods
Due to the perishable nature of our products, all food item sales are final. We do not accept returns for perishable goods including but not limited to:
Cakes
Cupcakes
Pastries
Breads
Cookies
Any other baked goods
However, if there is a problem with your order, such as it arriving damaged or not as described, please contact us immediately so that we can address the issue.
1.2 Non-Perishable Goods
For non-perishable goods, you have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Non-perishable goods include:
Merchandise (e.g., branded aprons, utensils)
1.3 Custom Orders
Custom and personalized orders are not eligible for return or refund unless there is a quality issue or the item is defective upon arrival. Please inspect your custom orders immediately upon receipt and notify us of any issues within 24 hours.
1.4 Non-Eligible Reasons
We do not offer refunds for the following reasons:
Incorrect order dates.
Failure to pick up you order during selected or agreed upon dates and times.
Preference changes or errors in selecting dates or times. Please ensure all order details are correct before placing your order.
2. Refunds
2.1 Eligibility
To be eligible for a refund, you must first return the item within the specified return period. Upon receipt of your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the status of your refund. To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following criteria:
It must be clearly different from what you ordered.
It must not meet the expectations we promise, such as incorrect item, or significant quality issues.
We do not offer refunds for dissatisfaction with flavor preferences.
2.2 Refund Process
If your request for a return is accepted, we will issue the refund during weekdays, and it will typically be processed within 4-5 business days, depending on your bank.
2.3 Refund for Perishable Goods
If your perishable goods arrive damaged, spoiled, or not as described, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt with photographic evidence. We will work with you to provide a replacement or a full refund, based on the situation.
2.4 Special Conditions for Refunds
Within 7 days of Pickup: No refunds or credits will be issued if the pickup is within 7 days from the date of cancellation.
14+ Days from Pickup: A refund will be issued if the pickup is 14 days or more out, provided the order has not been blocked out. This will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Orders are considered in our planning and cancellations may result in potential lost business for us.
3. Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception. Contact us immediately at sweetsocietybakingco@gmail.com if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and take appropriate action to rectify it.
4. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Sale Items: We do not accept returns on sale items.
Gift Cards: Returns on gift cards are not accepted.
5. Refund Methods
Credit/Debit Card: Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
Store Credit: If issued as a store credit, it will be provided as a gift card that can only be used online.
6. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund yet, please check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at sweetsocietybakingco@gmail.com.
7. Cancellations
7.1 Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it for a full refund. After this period, cancellations are not guaranteed, especially for custom and made-to-order items.
